Me

    Composing is not about ideas, inspiration or personal emotion : it's just the often illusory search for a small space of freedom. In my music it is the performers who are of utmost importance. They are the characters in a theatre of sounds, colours, reminiscences and sometimes of an interesting invention. When music is not played, it loses the immense charm of ephemeral art.
